You Were Created For More

As I walk and pondered our upcoming trip to the Philippines, I couldn't help but be stirred when thinking about our mission and opportunity in front of us in July when we leave for The Dream Tour.

Our mission is to speak into the lives of more than 1,000 people concerning God's intention and promise.

I have a deep conviction about this and I know that you do too. That conviction and belief is that every ACTION and thought concerning our imagination and dreams has huge consequences and impact upon our lives and on the lives of those around us.

Do you believe that for yourself?

You may feel like you are at the end of your rope or that your time has come and gone. Proverbs says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when it has come it is a tree of life. The truth of the matter is there is a tree of life waiting for you to partake of its sweet fruit.

They say that if your dreams don't scare you then they are probably not from God. Let me encourage you to stretch when you feel afraid, reach for the sweet nectar of lost dreams once imagined.

Believe that God's magnificent dream of you is still alive! If you say, “But I don't have a dream,” then get behind someone else who has a dream that you resonate with, and help them.

The end result will be that their fire will spark the wet wood that you feel you have in your life. It's a universal truth that if you make something happen for others it will release the greatness that is in your life too.

On June 27th, we leave the United States for the Philippines and we will be there for one month. Our mission is to empower and impact the lives of people with our Grace Empowered Living Conferences.

My wife Debra and I invite you to join hands with us to light the fire of the dreams and imaginations of people with a vision of God's intention for their lives.

Join us in Our 30 Day Challenge to Impact 1,000 People!

filipino-smilingIn the Month of July Debra and I will be traveling to the Philippines where we will be spending 30 days focused on impacting 1,000 individuals with the Gospel of Grace.

Our vision is to watch God open the hearts and lives of these people with the demonstration of the power of the Gospel. From our past experience there is no doubt in our minds that we will see many miracles and lives reached during this time.

Our goal is to raise $4,000 which works out to just $4 per person! Imagine, being able to significantly have an impact on a life for a one time gift of just $4.00!

What is the Gospel of Grace?
.

In a sentence the Gospel is the revealed knowledge of God about who you are, your identity and what is possible for your life. He restored and connects us to our true purpose as sons and daughters and extends grace (His very self) to live out his presence on the Earth.

The Philippines is a country that is steeped in religion and is desperately in need of discovering the truth of their identity as a nation and as a people. The results of this discovery can be profound!

Where are we going and what will we be doing?

Our first stop will be in Quezon City which is in Metro Manila where we will be holding an all day conference at the facility of Pastor Will and Lynn McCulloch. A group of pastors in the Manila area have agreed to support and work together toward this event. We anticipate around 400 participants to be in attendance.

Ministry at Word of Grace Church

That first Sunday we will be ministering in the services at Word of Grace Church. This is a follow up from the previous day's conference with many new people who were not able to attend the previous days meetings.  I am told, Pastor McCulloch has a ministry that is awesome! His ministry is full of the GRACE of God, and establishes one in the knowledge of who they are in union with Christ.

WORDforAllNationsInternationalWORD for All Nations International

The second Sunday we will be ministering at Pastor Paul Mata's church. They meet in a movie theater which is inside of an indoor mall. Pastor Mata was the one who invited us and set most of the meetings up while there.

Jesus is Lord Ministries - Pastor Alejandro & Marlene Flores

We will be getting on a plane and flying to Mindanao, Davao City and then driving on to Digos City. We have been friends with the Flores's for several years and have had them in our home. Pastor has the heart of passion for the Lord and it shows. He along with his wife represent a number of churches that they have helped start. He is on radio and television throughout the area.  We will be holding revival meetings, ministering on Sunday morning and feedings indigent children while we are with them.

These are just three of the many area's we will be reaching out to and we need your help to do it. Can you help sponsor one or more individuals so that they have the opportunity to attend a Grace Empowered Living Conference in their area?

We are going on an outreach to the Philippines and we want you to be a part of our mission. If you can help us by sponsoring 25 people we would appreciate it.

Sponsor 5 people $20.00
Sponsor 10 people $40.00
Sponsor 15 people $60.00
Sponsor 25 people $100.00

The Philippines Outreach July 2016

The Philippine Outreach July 2016

PeoplePowerRevolutionAquino1986It is sometimes difficult for us as westerners to grasp a clear understanding of the Philippines or her people. There has always seemed to be a clash of cultures, with abject poverty in the provinces on the more than 7,000 islands and children seen begging on the streets streets of Manila, and at the same time an industrious people seeking to lift themselves up. They are a family and relationship-based people who are committed and dedicated to the things in which they believe. They are proud of their heritage of standing tall, even though they, as a culture, have suffered greatly. I have sat across the table listening to a Filipino describe themselves as being like a strong bamboo tree that bends with the winds and storms, but never breaks. We were there during the People Power Revolution starting in 1983. The country was represented by half of the population being under the age of 18. We saw the youth as a huge opportunity and reached out to them in the University belt area. Our desire was to print and distribute a magazine called “The Student Prober”. It was a huge vision but we knew that it would open doors into the hearts and minds of the youth of that country. Our maiden issue was to include an article called, Who Are The Supermen of Our Generation?

whatifIt addressed our need as a society to look for saviors, superheros as it were. At that time many young people saw Cory Aquino as that one person who would save their country from the previous years of the Marcos regime. Obviously we understand that there is only one who saves and it is He who has given us the mandate to bring answers to our world around us.

Incredible times to be sure. The challenge remains and the needs are just as large today. We believe that God has called us to help....

We will arrive in Manila on July 1st and plan on being there for most of the month. Our plans will include holding a GRACE EMPOWERED LIVING CONFERENCE in Manila in Cavite, Laguna and in Digos City, Mindandanao with Alejandro Flores at his church “Jesus is Our Lord Ministries Int.”

These people need to hear a message of freedom and love. Religion has bound so many in this culture. It instigates a message of fear, which dis-empowers them from experiencing God’s blueprint for their lives. Debra and I have a passion for connecting people to their true identity and blueprint and showing them what is possible for their lives.

We want to give our friends and family the opportunity to seed into this wonderful opportunity. Can you help us? I believe that God will stir and will bring the full amount that we need, which is about $5,000! God is our source but he uses the relationships of those around us to work through.  To that we both say thank you in advance.

Grace Empowered Conference – Philippines

GRACE EMPOWERED LIVING MANILA CONFERENCE

ScottDebraNSAMy wife Debra and I are excited about an opportunity to do something we have dreamed of for years. It all began thirty years ago when we left with our infant son Daniel to live and work in the Philippines.

debrasuccessnlifeWhile there we we held crusades, spoke to school faculties and students in the university district, spoke in prisons, and filled in as a Pastor in Mindanao. I created materials that were distributed to over 100,000 people. We were filled with vision and purpose to make a difference in that country. Unfortunately our time was cut short because of lack of finances, and over the years we have had a compelling desire to go back to that mission field. We spent three years as Pastors in one denomination who promised that they would fund our efforts in the Philippines, but sadly, we left their organization disappointed.

All In God's Timing!

scott_phRecently a Pastor in the Manila area reached out to us. He has been watching our ministry videos for two years. He loves the Grace message and what it can do in the lives of people. He and a group of pastors, are coordinating together to host a GRACE EMPOWERED LIVING Manila Conference. They have already acquired use of a building that will hold 400 people. We will not only hold this conference in Manila but it will be repeated in CAVITE, Laguna and near the Davao, Mindanao area. Alejandro Flores will be our host in Digos City, Mindanao at his church "Jesus is Our Lord Ministries Int."

We both feel strongly that this is a kairos moment. From the moment Pastor Paul reached out to us and started communicating, I became overwhelmed by the presence of God. In many ways it is like a full circle from where we began so many years ago in 1987. Thirty years of desire to reconnect with the Philippines are coming to fruition. God's wonderful GPS system always, always, always works to brings us back to His purpose that he places in our hearts.

I can't tell you how stirred we are about this trip. I have no doubts whatsoever about the impact that our efforts will have in working with these ministry leaders. We want to use our time wisely, and are looking to invest ourselves into these people for up to one month. We are leaving the last week in June and will return, the end of July.

These people need to hear a message of freedom and love. Religion has bound so many in this culture. It instigates a message of fear, which dis-empowers them from experiencing God's blueprint for their lives.
